The previous blank post was brought to you by a guest blogger - my nearly two-year-old E. I gave her my phone to play Peek-A-Boo so I could close my eyes for a second or two and she started playing with my apps.

Mommy Confession #3
I really want my kids to be good readers. We have a ton of books, encourage independent reading (at least with E), and read several books every bought before bed. Tonight I just told her to read me the books so I could check out for a few minutes.

Mommy Confession #2
E woke up from her nap and wanted a snack. I let her pick it since you're supposed to give toddlers independence and all that. She went with cheese, crackers, and grapes. I then made my snack - a big 'ol bowl of ice cream. I didn't share.

Mommy Confession #1
I know I should be sympathetic and understanding about C's acid reflux but I'm just so tired of doing laundry. I burp him religiously but he's a ninja urper. Hours later, when you least expect: burp and spitup. I put on a bib on him and I get covered in spitup. I don't put a bib on him and he goes through 5 outfits a day. Next step: cut a hole in a trashbag for his head and call it good.
